Right. I assume @nrgaway is testing his build, and if it checks out, he
can notify us here, submit a pull request to Marek, and we can have you
@Patrick update qubes-whonix 10.0.4 DEB package as stable.
Yes, I am for improving the process.
I've reviewed "qubes-whonix" 10.0.4 and give it a thumbs up for release
in its current form.
We really need a better structured release process that helps iron out
the issues and hiccups. I will plan to make a post on this so we can get
a more robust process in place for the future.

Okay, I've reviewed "qubes-whonix" 10.0.3 and give it a thumbs up for
release in its current form.
@nrgaway That all sounds good. I've updated the audit forum thread and
am reviewing the code myself today.

@nrgaway What did you think of Patrick's proposal of going directly to Whonix 10 in the next few days?
@nrgaway Great job! :)
Apr 9 2015
I'm all finished now. Didn't require much at all.
Apr 7 2015
Shouldn't take very much at all.

I generally like the idea of these extra ticket attribute fields.

As a general point... I think Whonix + Bitcoin (cryptocurrency) is a good position to acquire in more people's minds for attracting more Whonix success.
Posted notification of this to Qubes devs...
Mar 19 2015
I can confirm that this is happening. Where whonix-repository is using wheezy repo and whonix-setup-wizard is using literal stable repo.
Mar 18 2015
oops, thought it was.
Looks like the "qubes-whonix" 9.6.2-1 deb package has been migrated to the "stable" apt repo.
Resolved: Have implemented this plan for the wiki sub-pages documentation format of Whonix Qubes.

Test email comment from @WhonixQubes.

Ok, good to know. Will certainly have to get to a more thorough review of Whonix entropy in Qubes.
Still have to get to this later, but...

Sounds good, @Patrick.
This is briefly documented here, which people are being referred to by wiki and personally:

All looks good.
Looks good for documenting the process.
Feb 17 2015
@Patrick is there documentation that describes the versioning format conventions used for the structure and incrementing of other Whonix packages?
Looks good to me.
Maybe what @nrgaway was intending was to bump the trailing dash number suffix, like from 9.6-1 to 9.6-2 etc.
Feb 16 2015
So I'm now satisfied with my cursory audit of the proposed "qubes-whonix" 9.6-1 package version.
I can see the type of issues that Patrick is mentioning.
Agreed. Will update this ticket now.
Personally, for sorting new updates to tickets fast, I use the email notifications to filter them and then browse directly to the tickets that I know I need to further look at or respond to.
Unless there are other opinions, I'm fine with qubes-whonix-next.
The tag format of Qubes 9.6 and Qubes 10 don't really seem to make sense, since it could be easily confused as a Qubes OS version.
Ok, oh well, I will have to play with things and figure out something later.

Thanks Patrick! More an issue of the time to wait for --allow-remote becoming shipped in Whonix by default.
Jan 6 2015
I am independently developing some Qubes software which will also benefit Whonix on the Qubes platform. And am in need of this --allow-remote functionality as a default for Whonix Qubes in upcoming months.

Success. Got email notification.
