Description

@Patrick since we now know how to manipulate VLC settings, how about setting its video decoding to X11 by default so it works out of the box and the long text in the known problems section can be removed?

Did a diff between the versions of the file before/after the change and here is the output:

vout=xcb_x11

Let me know what file you changed for the metadata thing so I can do a PR.

The original path is /home/user/.config/vlc/vlcrc

I am not aware of any options. Only location:
