Description

Now that grub-enable-apparmor gets simplified, the unrelated settings it applied should be put into separate packages.

The grub-screen-resolution package should inject "vga=0x0317" into GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT using /etc/default/grub.d in order to set a higher screen resolution (1024x768) during boot. For better usability, to make things easier to read, so they pass through a little slower and to ease debugging in case of issues.

Fixed "vga=ext is deprecated. Use set gfxpayload=text before linux command instead". Upgraded for grub2 / Debian jessie.:
