There is low activity in the blog. Mostly spam comments. Since blog comments are automatically mirrored to the forum, every spam comment generates extra work cleaning those up twice.

Unless someone else steps up to handle the spam, I am planning to disable blog comments. Comments are still welcome and open in the forums. New blog posts will hopefully still be automatically mirrored to Whonix forums [by by the wordpress wpsmf plugin] [and the whonix-devel mailing list]. Editing blog posts to add a link to the mirrored forum post is currently a manual process, that could be automated one day with some wordpress [plugin] php hacking.
