Good question. Was wondering about that also. For now, I just remember and ignore them. Which is a bit weird, because I mentally go through that ticket every time I read it.
For the Whonix 10 milestone (which is also just a project / tag), I created a work board:
https://phabricator.whonix.org/project/board/2/
It contains a column "wait". Similarly you could also move tickets to a to be created "needs review" column.
Here is the Qubes work board:
https://phabricator.whonix.org/project/board/17/query/all/
(Any project/tag can easily get a work board if desired with "1" click.)
For whatever that's worth. Does that sound usable?
Not for me, because then I have to keep remembering to go to the workboard and manually move tickets back and forth between columns "open" and "needs review".
Maybe we can get a new "Action" where we can set the status to stuff like "open", "needs review", "needs information" (if that is useful) and so forth in the ticket. Then you can modify the status accordingly and have some custom advanced search, where you only search for open tickets, that do not require review yet.
@nrgaway did I try to answer the question you asked or am I on wrong track? In the latter case, please open a new ticket.
Likely this is possible:
https://phabricator.whonix.org/config/edit/maniphest.statuses/
The "change status" action is configurable.
I'll remove the "Spite" one, since it was never used and unless someone has an idea what it's good for. Will Add "duplicate" and "needs review".
We now have
- Open
- Resolved
- Wontfix
- Invalid
- Review
Not yet "duplicate". Somehow my config doesn't work. But it's not that important, no?
You could now make a custom phabricator search and it should only show open tasks. Not those which are marked review.
Now that we have a "Review" status, that should do @nrgaway?
I'm not too sure. Getting lost in finding items though; just a learning curve. Took me 2 minutes to refind this topic :)
Is it possible when reviewing the open items or workboard or whatever to show if there have been any replies to a ticket since I last viewed it. That would help alot.
Personally, for sorting new updates to tickets fast, I use the email notifications to filter them and then browse directly to the tickets that I know I need to further look at or respond to.
Ensuring you are subscribed for email notifications and creating alert/filtering rules in your email client would be one way to help manage this process.

I found this one by e-mail notification and alternatively by searching for the "phabricator" tag and then clicking all tickets on the left.

One thing, you could set up e-mail notification. Have yourself added to CC for tickets of all or specific components (Qubes etc.), see:
https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Dev/Bug_Tracker#Get_E-Mail_Notification_for_all_New_Maniphest_Tasks
There is also a feed, that is now linked (pinned) on the phabricator.whonix.org main page as "feed". Check if this helps:
https://phabricator.whonix.org/feed/
It's more a general feed. Not a personal "check what I have missed" thing. Would e-mail notification work for you?
Otherwise I can check if we can get this "check what I have missed" thing. Phabricator should be able to do almost everything. I mean, if much it works for much bigger projects (facebook, mediawiki), it should work for us as well.
Check this out. There is also:
https://phabricator.whonix.org/notification/
Apparently (as per IRC support), there are no features alike
- "Show unread posts since last visit."
- "Show new replies to your posts."
There is also unread notifications!
Check this out:
https://phabricator.whonix.org/notification/query/unread/
Added a link to https://phabricator.whonix.org/notification/query/unread/ as "Unread Notifications" to the page footer of phabricator.whonix.org.
